NO-9
About
"NO-9" is a fast-paced, high-energy anime music video (AMV) I created using Sony Vegas Pro, featuring Majin Vegeta, Broly, and Goku. The AMV explores their intense battles, raw emotions, and ultimate determination, syncing dynamic action sequences with the beat of the music. Using precise editing, speed ramps, glitch effects, and cinematic transitions, I aimed to amplify the power and impact of each scene, making the viewer feel fully immersed in the action.
Challange
One of the main challenges was maintaining seamless beat synchronization while ensuring smooth pacing throughout the AMV. Each scene had to be precisely timed to the music, requiring frame-by-frame adjustments, motion blur integration, and velocity edits. Another challenge was balancing the different energy levels of Majin Vegeta, Broly, and Goku’s fight scenes, making sure their sequences flowed naturally within the overall rhythm of the video. Additionally, optimizing high-quality anime footage for smooth playback in Sony Vegas Pro required advanced rendering techniques to avoid lag.
Result
The final AMV delivers a visually electrifying experience, bringing together explosive fight sequences, cinematic lighting, and high-impact transitions to tell a story of power, struggle, and perseverance. The combination of fast cuts, glitch distortions, and stylized effects enhances the intensity, keeping the audience engaged from start to finish. Through NO-9, I further honed my beat-matching skills, visual effects execution, and AMV storytelling techniques, pushing my editing in Sony Vegas Pro to a new level.
